Balkan Art Fashion Event is a fashion event that has a purpose of connecting the public with the new generations of young designers from Serbia and region. BAFE pays a special attention helping to develop the ones that do not consider fashion as a field in the industry, but as the artistic performance that develops on both runway and the regular streets.
‘Subtraction Pattern Cutting’ – ZERO WASTE is a fashion design workshop within the tenth jubilee Balkan Art Fashion Event. Once again, Textil company has provided fabrics and materials needed for the participants to work. During the workshop, candidates passed through 4 different stages of creative process: brief phase of looking for sources of inspiration; phase of transforming the inspiration to the form of piece of clothing; phase of Subtraction Cutting and lastly, phase of transporting primary and secondary inspiration to details, accessories, or print.
